In addition to the cycling adventures we have also been involved in a number of other fund raising events…..
June 13 2018 - A huge, great big thank you to the HO Recruitment team in Croydon and others who ran a bake sale and raised the astonishing amount of £215.78 for Winstons Wish! You are all legends!
December 31 2018 - A big thank you to Kevin, Alison, Kate, Mark, Liz, Chris, Lyn & Geoff who organised a fun packed, musical Hootenanny at their village hall and raised a whopping £300 for Winstons Wish.
12 February 2019 - The HO Recruitment team were at it again baking a redonkulous number of cakes, pastries, cup cakes and savouries and raising an amazing £312…..yes you read that right a simply massive £312 for Winstons Wish!!!!
At 11am on 25 April a whole army of amateur bakers from the Medical Assessment Unit at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch set up shop and Marc and Dan began their epic non stop 24 hour cycle challenge. Together they raised the frankly unbelievable amount of £1470, a simply massive step towards our £10k target for Winstons Wish. Thank you so much to everyone involved and everyone who gave so kindly….you are amazing!
In June 2019 we held the inaugural “Civil Servanty Challenge” quiz night raising just over £200 for Winstons Wish.
All three of us (minus tent!) cycled the 2019 Ride London 100 on Sunday 4 August.
In October we ran the “Civil Servanty Challenge - Halloween Special and raised nearly £300.
In spite of Covid -19 we are planning our own version of the Ride London 100 for 2020, cycling from Marcs house in Worcestershire to mine in South West London
