Yes its true…….the moment you have been waiting for….TMAAT are at it again!

Given the enormity of last years challenge and our desire to make each adventure just that little bit tougher, it has been pretty tricky agreeing what we might do this time around. To be honest I am still not 100% sure there is “agreement” but regardless I am pressing on…..lets assume that there is (perhaps lets call it a “quorum” ….no not the 80’s aftershave!) and we can work out the deets in time and in private!

This time then we are challenging ourselves to cycle from my front door (as per usual) in London to Athens....yes, that's right I said Athens and yes I do mean the one in Greece (is there another?). As if that wasn't enough of a challenge we also plan to take in 10 different countries on the way, we have picked the toughest climbs we could find in the Alps plus we will drop through Venice (not known for its cycling friendly streets) for a bit of touristy nonsense and of course then on to the Parthenon in Athens with, it has to be said, a small amount of ferry assistance….oh and for a bit of additional jeopardy the current plan is that we will be using the same bikes as last time….yes that means the bikes that in my case let us down badly and left us stranded in Northern Spain for nearly a week!

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK and so many of our friends and friends of friends have been diagnosed that we thought it was high time to lean our collective fundraising shoulders into the challenge.
