Oh yes, we’re back….and ciao bella en Italia…fantastico!

Welcome to the third, and by some distance the most redonkulous "Three Men and a Tent" adventure so far. 

On May 11 2019 at exactly midday Marc, Dan and I will head off on our bikes from Trafalgar Square and head for Newhaven. We’ll pick up the 23:00 crossing to Dieppe and then, presumably after not much sleep, cycle through Northern France to Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Not content with that we’ll then carry on heading south west through France and then across the Alps (via the infamous Alpe D'Huez) into Italy. We’ll then cycle on to take in Turin, Modena, Florence, Siena and then finally Rome where our epic adventure will end under the Constantine Arch just outside the Coliseum. It’s around 1300 miles and just over 2 weeks of cycling with the bare essentials and a tent stuffed in our panniers. Yes your right….it is utterly, utterly bonkers!

Not without good reason though….many of you have already been so incredibly generous with your donations on our previous adventures and of course we are going to ask everyone to donate again and to tell your friends to donate as well!

Our aim has always been to raise £10,000 for the amazing Winston's Wish. With everyones help we have already raised the frankly incredible amount of £7000 and so this is our big push to get to that final £10k target. We need your help so please give generously right here Just Giving.

When we head off you will be able to keep track of our progress and tales of derring-do right here on this website or you can follow us @3menandatent. We will as usual be trying to provide daily updates as we go but its likely that it won’t always be that easy.
